6 Decades Quilt x 6 Decades Coveralls
This quilt was created to commemorate completing my first post-college year. The year after graduation is notoriously stressful and I feel mine was no different. Prior to graduation my work was predominately garment based but over the last year my interest in quilting has really taken over. The 6 Decade Coveralls were the last piece I made for thesis, created using six different striped styles of handprinted canvas (see more here). I used the leftover fabric for this quilt, bridging the old and the new as an ode to the future.
